WE ARE IN A LAZARUS MOMENT!

We are at an interesting moment in time. I call it, The Lazarus Moment. Most of us know the story of Lazarus.

Lazarus was ill. He and his sisters, Mary and Martha were all close friends. They sent word to Jesus that their brother was gravely sick and could he please come to him. Jesus responded, "This sickness won't end in death. It is for God's glory and that God's son will be glorified through it." (John 11:4) Two days later, Jesus left for Lazarus' tomb where they had buried him four days earlier. The sisters were not happy with Jesus and Martha said to him, "Lord, if you had been here, our brother wouldn't have died!" (John 11:21) His response? "Your brother will rise again." (John 11:23) Jesus went to the tomb where the body was laid, had the stone removed and said, "Lazarus Come Forth." (John 11:43) Lazarus walked out of the tomb, resurrected. (John 11:44) In the United States and in the entire world, we are in a "Lazarus Moment." The events that have taken place look dire. Our country and the entire world is sick. Our government has lost its way. Corruption abounds. Unrighteousness is the rule of the day. Satan prowls like a roaring lion ready to devour whoever gets in his way. Some cry, "Where's God?" Others lament, "Lord, We can't take any more! Do something NOW!" At times it feels like we have died. Our way of life we've known for so very long is in the past. Family values have all but disappeared. Our freedom seems like a forgone memory. Up is down. Right is left. Objective truth has all but disappeared. We are coughing and gagging as a nation on the nonsensical and demonic attitudes and actions of our three branches of government. Our Constitution is being used to line wastebaskets. Yes, we are in a "Lazarus Moment."

Our country is in the tomb. The world has been declared dead. Demons rejoice as we are being isolated and divided by those who pull the strings of most politicians.

We are praying and begging God to intervene. Like Mary and Martha, we know God loves this country like Jesus loved Lazarus! So why isn't He healing us? Why is He waiting?

Let's never forget, "For God SO LOVED THE WORLD that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) There will be a moment! Yes...there will be a moment when God will yell, "AMERICA COME FORTH!" and out of the tomb we will emerge. We will shake off our grave clothes and walk out RESURRECTED and ALIVE once again, to our true values...alive to freedom...alive to prosperity...alive to community, love, and unity to each other! We might be only two days in that tomb. We might stink from being dead for so long. Our grave clothes are still wrapped around us. But in one LAZARUS MOMENT God will call us forth and the United States of America will be whole and well again! NEVER underestimate God's power and plan for the country that was birthed by Him! God's Got This and HE ALREADY WON. Pray like you've never prayed before. And may God truly bless us, keep us safe, and release His power, glory, and love throughout the earth. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
