For Remnant’s Eyes Only – the Vulture

After this morning’s 'adventures with God' I’m starting this new blog series called, “For Remnant’s Eyes Only.” It will have a deeper revelation of His Word and His hand moving in the earth. I will also share some of my beautiful moments with the Holy Spirit. And if you're reading this blog with this title, I'm sure that would include you.

Dennis and I have a routine. I’m up at the crack of dawn, and I go into my office, and I quiet myself and pray, waiting on God for the day’s assignment and anything He might want to say. Today, it was this series, but also a powerful word for all of us.

A couple of hours later, I heard the coffee grinder humming. Yes, Dennis is a coffee snob and no one, but no one makes coffee better than him. When the coffee timer goes off, that’s my cue that he has “fixed” my coffee just as I like it, and we are both ready for our daily, morning chat and prayer.

This morning, as we sat at our little pub table in our kitchen, Dennis looked out the window and on the top of our roof was a gigantic vulture. I mean, it was HUGE.

We both gazed at each other. We have been seeing vultures all around our building the past month yet not one before that time and we have been living here since May.

A few weeks ago, Dennis spotted two vultures sitting on the bank of the pond across the street from us. Out of nowhere, a white dove appeared and flew up from the ground in between both. At that point we knew to watch for them closely.

So, what does it all mean?

In the natural, vultures are nature’s “cleaning crew.” They rid the land of dead carcasses that could spread diseases, bacteria, and parasites, yet they don’t get ill. That’s because they have a unique genetic makeup with an unusually strong immune system. Therefore, they can eat decaying carcasses full of pathogens and not get sick.

Now let’s look at the meaning of vulture in the spirit.

In the New Testament, vultures indicate the coming death and judgement of those who follow the Antichrist or Anti-christ spirit. And God knows better than we do, that a spirit that is anti-Christ is trying to enslave all of us.

[Quick note here: I’m not speaking of a person, the Antichrist, but a prevailing spiritual atmosphere that has invaded this world.]

The prevailing anti-Christ spirit of the day is doing its best to get our eyes off God.

Everywhere, people we have never heard of before a few years ago, or in some cases a few months ago, pop up like a jack in the box. They profess this or that to be true and they take captive our minds and we mentally move in a direction that will ultimately bring us into confusion and fear. Whether it’s in the church or outside of the body of Christ, there are many who are placed there to lead you astray. There’s an old saying, “All that glitters is not gold.” Nothing could be truer than that at this exact moment in time.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24

If you study out the vulture, you will see that wherever there is a corpse, that is where vultures gather.

Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. Matthew 24:28

The vulture we saw today was very significant. That vulture prophesied the coming judgement of those who live in the anti-Christ spirit, live in a spirit of divination, live in a spirit of mammon, or are directly working for the other side, or all the above!

And notice the word gather in that scripture! Every day we get more and more revelation and understanding of the word God gave us about The Gathering.

We travel city to city and state to state to bring life to the dead corpses, both physical and spiritual, that are invading that city and region. No spirit can stand against the resurrection power of Christ, and that’s why we GATHER!

One final thing happened this morning. Dennis has been drawn to old music, especially songs from the 1950s. Today he played one for me and the lyrics were so beautiful, that I could only think about our Father in heaven.

Only You – The Platters

Only you can make this world seem right.

Only you can make the darkness bright.

Only you and you alone can thrill me like you do.

And fill my heart with love for only you.

Have a beautiful day and continue to gather where the demons have created corpses. Each one of us is here for a reason…and we are here to do God’s work on this earth. Each one. We are the answer…and it starts with…

Only you.
