An Answer for our Fractured World

We are presently living in a world that feels more fractured than it ever was.

Political battles are raging everywhere you look, dividing people, and with more and more social media channels springing up, you just can’t get away from it at all. There’s division slicing through our families, our communities and nations around the world like a hot knife through butter.
Maybe it's time we hit pause and rethink things.
If you know us, you know that when we are in turmoil and difficult times are surrounding on all sides, we look to our life coaching manual: the Word of God. Within that ancient blueprint, there is an answer to rise above the mess we’re in and get a new perspective!
If you can see from God’s birds-eye point of view, you will see a new breed of priests stepping up amid the chaos. Oh. No. Not the stuffy, robe-wearing, collared kind of priest, but everyday people and leaders anointed like Samuel in the Bible.
This is not about religion. It’s a fresh call.
It’s a call to embody righteousness and a perspective that heals wounds and builds bridges. It’s a call to the Samuel anointing.
Allow me to explain.
A Samuel anointing is a divine empowerment to discern truth, call out injustice, and unite people under a banner of Christ rather than ideology.
Let's unpack this a bit. Samuel wasn't born into power; he was a kid who heard God's voice in the dead of night when everyone else was snoring, sound asleep.
Look around. Moral decay. Leadership failures in politics, corruption in governments, and even in the body of Christ. But in a time, just like this, Samuel rose as a prophet, judge, and anointer of kings. Today, that “Samuel anointing’ means we’re called to be voices of clarity amid all the loud noise.
We're not on this side of heaven to pick sides in endless social media wars or cable news shoutfests. Instead, it's about doing what's right, even when it's unpopular.
Think about it. Our world has polarized politics, where people have ceased to be a true voice and act as echo chambers for the brightest and newest revelation of the day.
It’s. All. Programmed. And most don’t even know it.
We need men and women who can listen deeply, speak truthfully, and act with compassion.
This new breed of priests?

They're the teachers, entrepreneurs, parents, neighbors. They choose unity over division, using their influence to mend rather than tear apart. This new breed has been set apart by God and the Holy Spirit is empowering them for a specific, divine purpose: to pour oil and balm on the wounds of a hurting world instead of picking up a proverbial gun and killing anyone who doesn’t agree with you.
Of course, overcoming political strife isn't something we can do alone. No one can. What we need is a collective shift, where we prioritize values like justice, mercy, and humility.
We must picture communities gathering not to protest against each other, but to build something better together. With a Samuel anointing, we're equipped to challenge corruption without becoming corrupt ourselves. It's about leading by example: turning down the volume on hate speech, extending olive branches across aisles, and investing in the next generation.
Yes. It’s possible. That’s what we are called to do.
Sure, it's tough. Forging unity is like swimming upstream. But history shows that true change starts with anointed individuals who dare to dream bigger than the status quo.
At the end of the day, this call isn't just a poetic revelation of a Biblical character; it's practical. Yes, it will start small. But as we engage in conversations that seek understanding, vote with conscience over party lines, and mentor others to do the same, we will all rise as this new breed. We will see divisions crumble and a renewed sense of purpose emerge.
So, who's with me?
Let's embrace the Samuel anointing and turn the tide toward a more united world. It's not too late to rewrite the narrative and stand for what Jesus professed to Pontius Pilate: “My Kingdom is not of this world.”
Selah.
